Committed to educating, enlighting, and empowering communities of color.

Supporting equal opportuntities and access.

The BE Project was founded with a mission to provide access to resources and opportunities by educating, enlighting, and empowering communities of color with a focus on the Black community.

Founded in 2020 by Amber Dee, The B Project is an extension of BFT and was created to address the mental health needs of individuals of color in the face of growing challenges such as systemic inequities, cultural stigma, and the lingering effects of the pandemic. Built on the foundation of providing accessible, culturally competent care, The B Projects offers group healing spaces and memberships, professional training, and community-focused education. These initiatives are designed to empower individuals to prioritize their mental well-being and navigate the unique challenges. Amber’s vision is to create a space where healing and healthy living are within reach for all.

Providing Access

Many people don’t know where to start or where to find help when it comes to their mental health. We believe that mental health services should be accessible to all. That’s why we partner with therapists and companies to provide resources, therapy, and other tools so that members of the black communities receive the help they need.

More Than Therapy

Our donors give us the opportunity to provide more than therapy to our community. Black Female Therapists offers coaching, classes, events and products that support the mental health journey no matter where you are and what you need.

Support for Communities

Education about mental health is the first step in supporting communities. Black Female Therapists’ classes, podcast and blog post provide free and low-cost educational resources for different areas of mental health.

Transform lives today by supporting the mission!
